Loek van Wely On Fire 6/6 HZ Tournament 2016 - Netherland

Before long, Loek van Wely level up his victory points to staggering 6/6. Loek participated in 20th Hoogeschool Zeeland 2016 chess tournament. He defeats six worthy opponents to sit on top of the tournament standings by round 6. Among his casualties are Indonesian IM Irine Kharisma Sukandar, who got fierce fight with Loek in round 4 on Sicilian game. Irene failed to take revenge because she also lost to Loek van Wely weeks prior in 10th Leiden Chess Tournament Amsterdam.

Hoogeschool Zeeland tournament attended by numerous chess master, the highest seed is GM Krishnan Sasikiran while GM Loek van Wely sit in number two. The event run from  6th till 13th August 2016. The entry-fee is € 55,=. For FM's the entry fee is € 30, and free for IMs and GMs. The website statistic show 14 grandmasters participated and 21 international masters.  Among the crowd are numbers of Chinese new GMs and not-yet-titled players. They show very good result indeed, such as Yuan Ye and Mu Ke who still untitled but able to squeezed in the top ten.

After six round, Loek van Wely enjoyed his supremacy on the field with perfect 6/6. He will face GM Konstantin Landa on round 7 to pursuit Caruana-ish perfect 7, if he defeat his 7th opponent. The show is to night. Check on chess24.

Grandmaster kawakan dari Belanda melaju bebas di tournamen di kampung halamannya yang bertajuk "Hoogeschool Zeeland Tournament 2016". Si mister Loek mengumpulkan nilai 6/6, alias sempurna dari seluruh enam babak. Yang menarik adalah kehadiran IM Irene Kharisma Sukandar dari ajang catur ini. Irene sedang melakukan chess-tourism di dataran Europe, sebelumnnya sudah pernah main di salah satu turnament sebelum yang ini. Irine juga menjadi salah satu "korban" Loek van Wely. Keduanya bertemu di round 4 dan Irene musti menyerah walaupun telah memberikan perlawanan sengit. Sebelumnya, Irene juga dikalahkan big Loek di kota Amsterdam di ajang Leiden Open, beberapa hari sebelumnya. Bisa disimak partai nya di atas.

Setelah melalui enam round, peringkat teratas diduduki Loek van Wely disusul pecatur Krishna Sasikiran. Berikut peringkat sementara setelah round 6. Tournamen ini bisa disaksikan kira-kira pukul sembilan malam di website-website penyiar LIVE CHESS.
