Indonesia Open Chess 2013 - Round 1

3rd Indonesia Open Chess Championship in Jakarta finished its round 1. While they are no known games available at the moment, chess-result.com already reported all round 1 result. In the first round it's seem like most Indonesian players being pushed to meet the top seeds and predictably failed to do an upset. However the first half point sneaked from top seed happen to be done by CM Muh. Luthfi Ali, who drew GM Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son which is almost 300 rating higher to him. FM Novita Anjas to upset a full point to GM Mark Paragua, then about four drew by lower seeds included WGM-elected Medina Warda Aulia who drew GM Ghaem Maghami Ehsan.

3rd Indonesia Open , 9 to 18th October 2013,  Hotel Sahid Jaya, Jakarta. Organized by Percasi (Indonesia Chess Association) and total prize fund to USD 100,000.

No known games so far, only few scattered infos gathered from social network (FB, Tweeter). It was reported that Nigel Short vs Ardiansyah game gone into strong resistance by the veteran Indonesian GM, where Ardiansyah at some point manage to held the position to almost equal, but Nigel Short able to converted it into victory. See the advantage of one pawn ahead and strong queenside pawn formation in favor of Nigel Short. The only 'preview' come in this photos below.   Photos are uploaded after permission from the author.
